READERS:

Readers proclaim the Word at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. Training is available with the Readers Coordinator, Vic Chargualaf who meets twice a year for group training, but can also be scheduled individually throughout the year for one-on-one training.

GREETERS:

Greeters are usually the first representative of the parish that people meet when they come to Mass. Greeters welcome and offer well wishes as people approach the worship space, serving the Parish Community by being a visible sign to members of the Parish, as well as visitors.  We are always looking to add cheerful, smiling faces to our Ministry. All families or individuals are welcome to join.

Once a volunteer signs up, they will receive a schedule each week that is emailed out and shows the next 5 weeks available for signing up for greeting. You can sign up for a Mass on a given weekend by responding to the email. If you do not use email, the head of greeters (Fred Coats) can contact you by phone or in person. Sign-ups are on a first come, first serve basis.

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION:

EMEs distribute Holy Communion to the assembled faithful during Mass. Individuals must be confirmed and practicing Catholics. Mandatory training is conducted by the EME Coordinator, Marcy Meldahl-Piety. Training occurs twice a year and by appointment.

USHERS:

Ushering is an opportunity to serve God by serving His people and is a wonderful way to actively and faithfully participate in the Liturgy of St. Albert the Great Parish. Ushers make sure that Liturgies run smoothly and orderly, enhancing everyone's opportunity to focus on the Mass. Training is provided by the Usher Coordinator, Phillip May.

ALTAR SERVERS:

Altar Servers assist the priests in many aspects of the Mass on the Altar. Anyone in grade 4 and older is welcome to be an Altar Server. Training is provided by the Altar Server Coordinator, Deacon Mike Duncan and Chad Bergman. There are several large group trainings throughout the year, and individual trainings can be scheduled as well.

ART & ENVIRONMENT:

Volunteers involved with Art and Environment Ministry are responsible for preparing the environment for the Liturgical Seasons of the Church Calendar. Volunteers work directly with the Art and Environment Ministry Coordinator, Kathy Walker.
