Pre-K/Kindergarten - Meets each Sunday at both 9am and 11am Mass. Registration is required. This program gives our young children ages 4-5 the opportunity to appreciate the Gospel message and participate in the mass celebration at their developmental level. We provide students a basic liturgical understanding of the mass and engage them in activities pertaining to the Gospel reading for that Sunday.
Grades 1–6- Meets during the Knox County school year on Wednesday evenings at 6:30-7:30pm. The young people build upon their faith foundation each year with the goal of increased insight into their faith. We are very fortunate to offer sacramental preparation to not only our second grade class (First Reconciliation and First Communion) and our sixth grade class (Confirmation) but also older children who have that need. Whether through gatherings as a group or individual classes, they participate in special projects and activities throughout the year and are given opportunities to grow in their faith.
Grades 7-8- Meets during the Knox County school year on Wednesday evenings at 6:30-7:30pm. This middle school group has a unique curriculum designed to continue the building of their faith post Confirmation. This class incorporates varied media and discussion to help our young people continue their person journey with Christ while increasing their participation in the community as well.
Grades 9–12- Meets during the Knox County school year on a schedule TBA. Please watch the bulletin for details! Our high school program is focused on both learning and living our faith. The program includes service, study, sacramental, and social elements.
RCIA - (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) Meets September thru Easter on Mondays 7:00pm–9:00pm. Starting each Fall, there are regular Monday evening sessions for those who would like to know more about the Catholic Church and its teachings. The sessions are free and imply no commitment on your part to join the Catholic Church. These sessions are opportunities for you, and others that you may wish to invite, to ask any questions you may have about Jesus Christ and the Church. These gatherings are open to people who are not baptized, as well as those who are baptized Christians from Protestant backgrounds, or baptized Catholics who have not received their First Communion and/or Confirmation. How can you help? Be a sponsor, join the team, and pray for the candidates and catechumens.
Adult Education Classes - Classes are most Thursdays at 9:30am.
VBS- Meets for one week in the summer from 5:15-7:15pm. Watch the bulletin for details.
