With a focus on Christ as the heart of our Ministry, we provide a variety of tools to deepen the prayer life of parishioners at St. Albert the Great Parish.
Spiritual Life: Devotional
YEAR ROUND EVENTS:
Family Prayer Brunch- This event includes an opportunity to share food together and then a family rosary where the children of our Parish can participate by holding a "bead" on a large rosary stretching around the Church as we pray together! Keep an eye on the bulletin for TBA date!
Women’s Bible Study - The women of the parish are invited to Women’s Bible Study. The group meets weekly to discuss a certain book, or scripture program. Watch the bulletin and your e-mail for start times, book ideas and more information! Angela Nelson coordinates this group.
CD of the Month - On the first weekend of each month a new CD is offered to the parish. CD’s can be picked up on the rack next to the chapel door in the narthex of the church. CD’s are sponsored by Lighthouse Catholic Media and are free of charge to parishioners. We ask that you return each CD promptly so others many have the opportunity to listen to them! We also recommend that you use these cd’ s for family discussions/learning. Get your Renew groups back together to use them as a discussion topic.
Lending Library - Parishioners have graciously donated books that you can borrow them without cost. Please browse our library found on the book shelves in the Activities Center.
Stations of the Cross - Each Friday during Lent the Spiritual Life Committee sponsors the Stations of the Cross. Each week is lead by a different Parish group or Ministry using varied presentations of the Stations. Please join our parish family at 7 P.M. every Friday during Lent.
Living Stations of the Cross - On Good Friday the parish offers an opportunity for families to experience the Passion of Christ through the Living Stations. We hope that you join us for this special time of prayer.
Women’s Advent Tea - Join the women of St. Albert the Great for a wonderful afternoon of food, fellowship, and reflection during Advent. Offered before the hectic Christmas season gets into full swing, this popular event offers a valuable moment in time to prepare our hearts for the birth of our Savior.
Watch the bulletin for our meeting days! We look forward to meeting you!
